While the weather gods have been kinder, it's a technical hitch that's stalled New Zealand-based Rocket Lab's latest attempt to make its first commercial delivery into space.
The start-up planned to launch its first business payload into orbit from the Mahia Peninsula, in the North Island, on Wednesday afternoon.
However, minutes before take-off, the countdown stopped and the company announced it had stood down for the day because of a problem with a motor controller.
That followed a halt on Saturday over an issue at a remote tracking site and three days of unfavourable weather.
The attempts come during a two-week launching window - the second go at the mission after technical issues in April - and follows a series of successful tests.
The company has until July 6 to keep trying.
US-owned Rocket Lab runs the world's first privately-owned launch facility and focuses on small payloads. It is the only small launch provider to have reached orbit.
It hopes to complete a launch every two weeks in 2019 and weekly in 2020.
