Brisbane half Peter Wallace will make a return to Penrith, his junior club, in 2014 on a three-year deal.

The 27-year-old St Marys junior played 20 games for the Panthers across three seasons after debuting in 2005 before making a lucrative move to the Broncos.

The former NSW representative continues a strong recruitment drive for the rebuilding Panthers, including former St George Illawarra five-eighth Jamie Soward, Warriors backrower Elijah Taylor and Manly prop Brent Kite.

"We're very excited to have a local junior returning to Panthers," Panthers general manager of rugby league Phil Moss said in a statement.

"He's been performing tremendously well for the mighty Brisbane Broncos for a number of years.

"Peter is a perfect fit with the culture that coach Ivan Cleary has created for the Panthers club.

"This now completes our recruitment for the 2014 season."
