Western Sydney is riding high on top of the A-League with the competition's best defence, but the Wanderers are about to encounter the league's most fearsome striker.

Brisbane Roar's Besart Berisha has recovered from injury and will be thrust straight into the Roar line-up.

The Roar will also welcome back returning Socceroos Matt McKay and Ivan Franjic.

Top spot in the A-League will be on the line when the two meet in Brisbane, the venue where the Wanderers celebrated its first ever A-League win.
