Wanted NSW man arrested in WA

Western Australian police have arrested one of NSW's most wanted men, who is alleged to have murdered a man in Sydney's west earlier this month.

One of the most wanted men in NSW has been extradited from Western Australia and charged over the stabbing death of a man in Sydney's west.

The 23-year-old victim died after being stabbed at a home in Auburn on February 3, police said.

An arrest warrant was issued for the alleged offender and he was added to the NSW Police Force's Most Wanted list.

Western Australian Police arrested the 23-year-old in Perth last Friday, and detectives from Flemington Local Area Command brought him back to Sydney on Wednesday afternoon.

He was charged with murder and refused bail to appear in Burwood Local Court on Thursday.
