Kosovo's parliamentary election has been won by Prime Minister Hashim Thaci's Democratic Party, the PDK.
It gained about 30 per cent of the votes and will now need to find smaller parties willing to form a coalition.
However, Mr Thaci's next term in office will be complicated by war crimes investigations.
Kristina Kukolja asked central Europe correspondent Kerry Skyring how convincing a win returns him to power.
