An emergency warning has been issued for an out of control grass fire in northern Victoria with residents of Tongala, Wyuna and Yambuna urged to leave.

A bushfire warning has been issued for an out of control grass fire in northern Victoria.

Residents in Tongala, Wyuna and Yambuna, near Echuca, have been urged to leave the area.

The 50 hectare fire is out of control and moving in a northerly direction from Finlay Road towards Wyuna.
