Medecins Sans Frontieres, or Doctors Without Borders, says there's a danger healthcare in Afghanistan will collapse after NATO troops leave the country.
MSF says that despite more than a decade of international aid and investment in Afghanistan, access to basic and emergency medical care is still severely limited for many people.
It says the health system is incapable of meeting the growing needs of the conflict.
MSF's spokesman in Afghanistan, Benoit De Gryse, told Murray Silby the world must not take its focus off the country's medical needs in coming years.
