Warrior Peyroux back to face former club

Dominque Peyroux will return for the Warriors against his previous club, the Gold Coast Titans, in his first NRL match in more than four months.

Dominique Peyroux will make his comeback to the NRL against his former club in one of two changes to the Warriors' starting side to face Gold Coast in Auckland.

He comes at centre in a reshuffled backline, replacing winger David Fusitua, who was forced off early with a shoulder injury in the 46-12 defeat to defending champions the Sydney Roosters last weekend.

Peyroux got his first-grade debut in 2011 in the first of two seasons with Gold Coast and moved to the Warriors before the start of 2013.

He has made two appearances this year, the last back in April.

Ngani Laumape, who began at centre against the Roosters before moving out wide to replace Fusitua, will start on the right wing against the Titans on Sunday.

The other change to the Warriors' run-on 13 is at lock, where Sione Lousi comes in for Sebastine Ikahihifo, who shifts to the bench.

The interchange also features the inclusion of experienced prop Sam Rapira for back-rower Feleti Mateo, who will play in the NSW Cup against North Sydney in one of the curtain-raisers on Sunday.

The Warriors go into the penultimate round of the regular season having dropped out of the top eight after back-to-back losses to Newcastle and the Roosters.

They face having to beat both Gold Coast and Penrith in the final weekend, and hope other results go their way, to qualify for the play-offs.

Warriors: Sam Tomkins, Ngani Laumape, Konrad Hurrell, Dominique Peyroux, Manu Vatuvei, Thomas Leuluai, Shaun Johnson, Jacob Lillyman, Nathan Friend, Ben Matulino, Ben Henry, Simon Mannering (capt), Sione Lousi. Interchange (from): Sam Rapira, Suaia Matagi, Sebastine Ikahihifo, Jayson Bukuya, John Palavi.
