Warriors add two to unchanged NRL squad

Warriors coach Andrew McFadden will take two extra players in an otherwise unchanged line-up for the match against NRL premiers South Sydney in Perth.

The Warriors have added utility Dominique Peyroux and wing Ken Maumalo to an unchanged squad for their NRL match against South Sydney in Perth.

Coach Andrew McFadden has retained the same 17 players who took part in the 24-20 home win over Newcastle, a result that kept the Warriors seventh on the table.

McFadden is confident fullback Sam Tomkins and wing Manu Vatuvei will be right to take their place in the starting line-up against the defending champion Rabbitohs on Saturday.

"Both Sam and Manu were a bit sore after the game, but they've pulled up really well," he said.

"With it being such a long trip to Perth, we're taking two extra players to cover us."

The Warriors head out from Auckland on Wednesday for the longest trip in the NRL.

It is the fourth consecutive season they have had a fixture in Perth, having faced Manly there in 2012 and the Rabbitohs the past two years.

They have yet to win at the venue.

The Rabbitohs, who are coming off a 22-16 victory over Gold Coast, are sixth in the competition, edging the Warriors on points differential.

Warriors: Sam Tomkins, Jonathan Wright, Tuimoala Lolohea, Solomone Kata, Manu Vatuvei, Chad Townsend, Shaun Johnson, Jacob Lillyman, Nathan Friend, Ben Matulino, Bodene Thompson, Ryan Hoffman, Simon Mannering (capt). Interchange (from): Siliva Havili, Sebastine Ikahihifo, Sam Lisone, Albert Vete, Dominique Peyroux, Ken Maumalo.
