The Warriors have signed New Zealand-born Queensland club fullback Henare Wells for one season.
Wells came through the Sydney Roosters youth system alongside Kiwis star Roger Tuivasa-Sheck but struggled to break into the first grade team despite scoring 21 tries for their reserve grade feeder team, the Newtown Jets, in 2013.
The 22-year-old speedster joined Queensland Cup team the Burleigh Bears last year, scoring six tries in one game on his way to 20 for the season.
A knee injury restricted his game time in 2015.
Wells is the fifth player recruited from outside the Warriors for next year, following the signing of Tuivasa-Sheck, Cronulla Sharks centre Blake Ayshford, Manly prop Ligi Sao and Souths hooker Issac Luke.
Warriors head coach Andrew McFadden has only a handful more spots to fill to complete his 2016 roster.
"We won't rush into anything," McFadden said.
"We're pleased with the depth we have in place for next year and especially with the level of experience and the quality of our signings so far."
The Warriors lost their last eight games to slump to 13th place this year.
McFadden says the new signings, along with the careful promotion of a number of their best young players, will bring about an improvement.
"We have put a lot of work into realigning the squad and bringing together a group of players we believe can take our club to the heights we expect."
