The 16-month old baby panda can be seen tumbling down a hill, playing in the snow, and climbing on top of her mother Mei Xiang.
The Smithsonian's National Zoo in Washington, D.C posted on their Facebook page: "Today was Bao Bao's first time playing in the snow outside! And she was quite the little snow panda. She spent her morning tumbling down the hill in her yard, climbing and sliding down trees and pouncing on her mom Mei Xiang!"
Pandas are part of the Zoo's conservations efforts for endangered species. The animals are native to the mountain ranges in Sichuan, Shaani and Gansu provinces in China, and according to the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, there are fewer than 2000 pandas in the world.
