Sir Owen Glenn has cut his official ties with the Warriors, leaving Eric Watson as sole owner of the NRL club.
Watson bought out Glenn's 50 per cent share of the club to become the sole owner for the first time since he acquired a stake in the club 15 years ago.
Glenn said in May he would transfer his stake into a Trust to help the game at grassroots level.
Relations had soured between the wealthy co-owners, with Glenn having turned down a previous offer for his share from Watson last year.
A Warriors press release says discussions about the ownership had been ongoing for the last two months but terms of the agreement will remain confidential.
Watson says he is fully focused on the club's future.
"The signings we have made this year have enhanced our NRL squad, helping us to put together a group of players we believe can take the Warriors to the heights we expect," he said.
Glenn says he will continue to be a strong supporter of the Warriors and is hopeful of an improved performance for the 2016 season. The Warriors have failed to reach the play-offs since contesting the 2011 grand final.
Managing director Jim Doyle says he and the club are grateful for Glenn's support.
