It's the question on every internet user's lips: when will I get the NBN?
Now the company building the national broadband network has better answers.
NBN Co has made a major update to its website to make it easier for people to find out when they can get the super-fast broadband connected at their home or business.
The update moves away from telling people when NBN Co will be building in their neighbourhood, instead letting them know approximately when they should be able to buy a service from a retailer.
"The update also means for the tech enthusiasts, who are interested in what kind of technology their retailer will connect them to via the NBN network, that this information is available to them," NBN Co's John Simon said.
The government says all Australians will have access to the NBN by 2020.
Earlier in February it reached four million premises, or about a third of all Australian homes and businesses.
More than 1.7 million of those had signed up to use the NBN service.
NBN Co expected to reach its halfway milestone by mid-2017.
