India's Virat Kohli was unhappy with his opposite number, Steve Smith, after the Australian was accused of looking to the dressing rooms in Bangalore before deciding on whether to appeal an umpire's decision.
Kohli questioned Smith's integrity after the match, something which is also forbidden under the International Cricket Council's rules.
The ICC decided not to punish either skipper over the incident.
