Underperforming wingman Lewis Jetta is again on the outer at West Coast after being dropped for Thursday night's AFL clash with Sydney.

Jetta and onballer Mark Hutchings have both been axed after the Eagles' disappointing loss to Richmond last week, with veteran defender Sam Butler and promising midfielder Liam Duggan their replacements.

Jetta managed just 14 disposals against the Tigers in his return from a glute complaint and was largely missing from action when the game was on the line.

The Eagles could desperately use the outside run and speed Jetta was renowned for in his prime at Sydney but he has been largely unable to produce it at West Coast.

He has managed just 14 games in two seasons with the Eagles, having been dropped several times.

The winless Swans have also made two changes, recalling Harry Cunningham and Tom Papley for injured ruckman Sam Naismith (knee) and Jordan Dawson (omitted).

Talented youngster Papley's return will be welcomed by the Swans but with Naismith and Kurt Tippett (ankle) unable to prove their fitness, it will fall to backup big man Callum Sinclair to handle the ruck load on his own.

"We got him for the reason to be able to come in and play really good, strong hard footy for four quarters and he's got a big task ahead of him but he's not the only one," Sydney coach John Longmire said.

"There's plenty of others who have jobs ahead of them and I'm sure he'll get a hand from a few of the boys."
