Wests Tigers rookie Suli set for NRL debut

Exciting rookie Moses Suli will make his NRL debut in the Wests Tigers' season-opener against South Sydney.

Wests Tigers rookie Moses Suli is set to make his much-anticipated NRL debut after being included in the 19-man squad for the team's Friday night season opener against South Sydney.

Suli enters the starting side in place of winger Jordan Rankin, while forward JJ Felise has also failed to make Thursday night's cut.

Jack Littlejohn and Justin Hunt are the 18th and 19th men, however are also expected to drop off the extended bench after being named to play in reserve grade.

The 18-year-old Suli made headlines during the pre-season after signing a three-year extension despite making just two appearances in the under-20s competition.

The Rabbitohs are 1-17 for the ANZ Stadium clash, with Angus Crichton and Braidon Burns the extra men.
