Whale attack: fishermen rammed by frisky sperm whale

Fishermen off the coast of Chile have had a close encounter with a pod of sperm whales.

The boat was in choppy waters when the whales breached and swam circles around the vessel.

One whale came particularly close, ramming the boat.

The tiny fishing vessel was just off the coast of Lebu, a port city in Chile.

The incident lasted around two minutes before the whales eventually swam away.
