Here's a scary thought for Super Netball's best defenders - even West Coast Fever players haven't figured out a weakness in star goalshooter Jhaniele Fowler's game.
Fowler has played a key role in Fever's dramatic rise this season, with the 196cm Jamaican leading the league for goals scored.
After six rounds, Fowler has nailed 321 goals at an average of 53.5 per game.
The next best is fellow Jamaican Romelda Aiken, who has scored 243 goals for the Queensland Firebirds.
Rival teams have struggled to find a way to shut down Fowler.
And Fever captain Courtney Bruce says Fowler is so dominant, even her teammates haven't been able to figure out a weakness.
"I don't think there's any way to shut her down," Bruce said.
"She's just a phenomenal athlete. She makes every bad ball look good.
"You think you've got her covered at the post, and then she's happy to come out of the circle.
"She's happy to shoot long range, up close -whatever you need."
Fever only narrowly avoided the wooden spoon last season in a campaign that yielded just two wins.
But they are favourites to win this year's title after starting the season with a 5-1 record.
The competition is on a break this week, with the Fever returning to action on June 16 when they face off against the Vixens in Melbourne.
Although Fowler has received most of the attention for Fever's rise to the top of the table, the team's defence and midcourt have also improved out of sight.
Defenders Bruce (20) and Stacey Francis (17) sit second and third respectively in the league for intercepts - a crucial stat that has helped Fever become a powerhouse this year.
Only six competition points separates second spot from seventh, and Bruce is well aware that Fever still have plenty of work to do if they are to lock down top spot.
"Teams will come out harder, especially in the second half of the season knowing what we can put out there," Bruce said.
"I think the break comes best for us now.
"We've got all these wins under out belt, and that positivity going forward.
"It's a great chance to refresh and reset and hit the second half of the season even harder."
