The Wigan Warriors have bounced back from last weekend's defeat to Warrington with a 32-16 Super League comeback victory over Widnes Vikings in Baltic conditions.
The Vikings took the game to the Warriors in the first half on Friday and led 16-0 after 27 minutes thanks to tries from Matt Whitley and Stefan Marsh, with Tom Gilmore faultless with the boot.
Wigan did manage to pull one back through Joe Burgess before the break in a half in which they were clearly second best.
The Warriors looked a completely different side in the second half as they totally dominated their opponents and ran in five unanswered tries from Ryan Sutton, Thomas Leuluai, Liam Farrell, Sam Tomkins and Tom Davies, with Morgan Escare and Sam Tomkins adding the extras, to make it three wins from four this season.
In the day's other game, two players were sent off as Hull held off a second-half fightback from Warrington to get back to winning ways with a 21-12 triumph at KCOM Stadium.
The Wolves made the trek across the Pennines by train and coach to enable one of only two matches to survive the wintry blast but might have wondered if the effort was worth it when they trailed 18-0.
They also played the last 32 minutes with 12 men following the dismissal of stand-off Dec Patton but fought back with two tries in five minutes to give them some hope.
Hull, who also finished a man short after prop Liam Watts was shown a red card for a head butt, were indebted to the marksmanship of Marc Sneyd, who kicked six goals from as many attempts and rounded off the scoring with a drop goal.
