Wildcats sign third and final NBL import

The Perth Wildcats hope American centre Jameel McKay will help fill the void left by Nate Jawai, who has defected to the Cairns Taipans.

The Perth Wildcats have all but completed their roster for the NBL season with the signing of American centre Jameel McKay.

McKay is the third and final import to sign on with the Wildcats, joining championship-winning guard Casey Prather and dunking machine Jaron Johnson.

Veteran Wildcats forward Shawn Redhage is set to re-sign soon in a move that will officially complete the club's roster.

The Wildcats are aiming to win back-to-back titles, and they hope McKay will be able to fill the void left by Nate Jawai, who has joined the Cairns Taipans.

McKay is 206cm tall and weighs 96kg. He has a wingspan of 222cm and a standing reach of 279cm.
