Will Cooper take his mum to Oscars?

Bradley Cooper will reportedly take his mother Gloria Campano as his date to the Academy Awards on Sunday.

Bradley Cooper has reportedly picked his mum over his model girlfriend as his Oscars date.

Cooper is currently romancing British model Suki Waterhouse and has been announced as one of the presenters at this year's Academy Awards. He is also in the running for the best supporting actor prize thanks to his performance in American Hustle.

He's very close to his mother, Gloria Campano, and still lives with her, and it seems the 39-year-old would rather share his big moments with her than with 22-year-old Suki.

It certainly wouldn't be the first time Campano has been on his arm for a special occasion - she also accompanied him to this year's Golden Globes.

According to British newspaper The Sun, Cooper is just one of many actors opting for a mum-date at the ceremony on March 2.

Jared Leto is nominated for the best supporting actor prize for his role as Rayon in Dallas Buyers Club.

Despite being linked to 12 Years a Slave star Lupita Nyong'o and 21-year-old popstar Miley Cyrus recently, Leto will be walking the red carpet with his mother, Constance.

The 42-year-old shared a picture on Instagram, showing a screen shot of himself using video chat with his mother.

"My mothers face when @shannonleto and I told her she was coming to the #Oscars with us! :) (sic)," he captioned the cute snap.

Michael Fassbender is nominated in the best supporting actor category for his part in 12 Years a Slave.

He's also keeping it in the family when it comes to his date for the big night.

"His parents are on their way from Kerry (Ireland)," a source told the publication.

"He has been seeing model Madalina Ghenea in recent months but won't be walking the red carpet with her," the source said.

* The 86th Academy Awards ceremony will take place at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood on Sunday March 2. The event will be broadcast live in Australia on the Nine Network from 12.30pm (AEDT) on Monday.
