Windsurfer dies in Margaret River waters

The body of a windsurfer has been found in Margaret River waters after an overnight search in rough seas.

A windsurfer has died at a popular surf spot in Western Australia's south.

The man, 44, was last seen near a surf break known as "Bombie" at the Margaret River beach Prevelly Park just before 5pm on Sunday.

An overnight search was hampered by a large swell and strong winds.

The man's body was found in the water just after sunrise on Monday.
