The Cleveland Indians edged closer towards a place in baseball's World Series as they took a 2-0 lead in their American League Championship Series with the Toronto Blue Jays.
After winning the first game of the best-of-seven series on Friday night, the Indians backed it up with a 2-1 victory in the second clash thanks to Carlos Santana's home run and Francisco Lindor's RBI.
Meanwhile, the Chicago Cubs got their National League Championship Series against the Los Angeles Dodgers off to a winning start with an 8-4 victory.
Miguel Montero produced the key moment in the eighth inning, hitting a grand slam home run which yielded four runs.
There was no way back for the Dodgers after that, with the series continuing on Sunday.
