Woman, 85, dead after crash at WA winery

An elderly woman has died after being struck by her own vehicle in a car park at a winery in WA's southwest.

An 85-year-old woman has died after being hit by her own car at a winery in Western Australia.

The woman had parked her sedan at the gravel car park at Edwards Park Winery in Cowaramup, in the state's southwest, about 3.30pm on Tuesday before going inside with her friend.

Police believe the woman went back out into the car park a short time later and was struck by the vehicle.

She suffered serious injuries and later died at Busselton Hospital.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Crime Stoppers.
