Woman attacked in Melbourne park

A woman has been left shaken after a man attacked her from behind as she walked through a park in the Melbourne suburb of Pascoe Vale.

A woman has been grabbed around the neck and thrown to the ground while walking through a Melbourne park on her way home from work.

The 28-year-old woman was attacked from behind by a man in a Pascoe Vale park on Friday night.

She screamed and her attacker ran off, leaving her shaken but uninjured.
