A US woman has taken a photograph of what she says is butter resembling Donald Trump.

A US woman's photograph of a tub of butter she claimed to look like Donald Trump has gone viral online.

Jan Castellano was about to put some Earth Balance Organic Spread on her toast when she looked down at its surface and got a fright.

"I needed to put on my glasses to make sure it was him," Castellano told The Huffington Post.

The 63-year-old was referring to US presidential hopeful Donald Trump, whose face she claimed to see in the spread.
