Woman five times BAC limit in Mt Isa: cops

Police say they've busted a young woman driving disqualified and five times over the legal alcohol limit in Mount Isa.

A woman has been busted driving five times over the legal alcohol limit in Mount Isa, police say.

Police say the 25-year-old crashed into another car at an intersection on Friday, and that she later returned a 0.272 BAC reading.

She has been charged with driving under the influence of liquor and driving while disqualified.

She will face Mount Isa Magistrates Court on October 19.
