Woman sexually assaulted by two men

Police are searching for two alleged sex offenders who assaulted a woman in a Tamworth park in the early hours of Sunday morning.

A woman has been sexually assaulted by two men who jumped her as she walked through a northern NSW park just after midnight.

The 32-year-old was dragged onto an embankment and sexually assaulted after leaving a Tamworth pub and walking though a skate park in the town's centre about 12.30am (AEDT) Sunday.

"The woman told police a second man then also sexually assaulted her," police said.

Officers are searching for the two men, who fled the scene following the assault.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
