Woman wakes up to stranger in room in SA

A woman has been treated for minor injuries after struggling with a man who was allegedly trying to rob her in her bedroom in the middle the night.

A woman has woken up in the middle of the night in Adelaide to find a man in her bedroom allegedly trying to steal property.

The woman struggled with the man in the room of her Kilburn home not long before 3am on Wednesday and the stranger ran off empty handed, police say.

She was treated at the scene for minor injuries and the man remains at large.
