Key members of Australia's 2016 Olympic women's sevens gold-medal winning squad are locked away until after the Tokyo Games, with Sharni Williams, Shannon Perry and Alicia Quirk signing new contracts.
Williams and Parry have been co-captains of the women's team since 2015 and have represented Australia in the traditional 15-a-side form of the game.
Quirk played every minute of Australia's campaign in Rio and, like Williams and Parry, has committed to the Australian sevens program until the end of 2020.
Less than two weeks ago, Charlotte Caslick, the 2016 World Rugby Women's Sevens player of the year and Rio Olympian, also signed for the same period.
Another, key player and 2016 gold medallist, Elia Green, is expected to put pen to paper in the coming weeks.
Australian women's sevens coach John Manenti said Parry, Williams and Quirk were outstanding players and leaders in the squad.
"They all have such passion and drive for the program and for the game, wanting to see it grow and you can see this enthusiasm in the way they still throw themselves at everything," Manenti said.
"This year stands as a massive year for the squad, as we fight to secure Olympic qualification, and to have these three as a part of our plans is the wind in our sails as we charge through our pre-season."
The squad will start their quest for Tokyo Olympics qualification in the opening leg of the World Series in Colorado next month.
The top four nations at the end of the Series automatically qualify for Tokyo, with the ones below forced to go through regional tournaments.
Australia are the defending World Series champions.
