Tiger Woods has announced he will play in the Valspar Championships and Arnold Palmer Invitational over the next two weeks.
The former world No.1 has played in three PGA Tour events since returning from his latest injury lay-off, with his most recent appearance an encouraging 12th-placed finish at the Honda Classic last weekend.
He is now eighth in the betting for next month's Masters, where he announced himself with victory in 1997 before adding three more titles in 2001, 2002 and 2005.
"After a good recovery week I'm committing to play in the @ValsparChamp and @APinv next two weeks," he wrote on Twitter.
The 42-year-old will be making his debut in the Valspar Championships but will hope to recreate old glories at the Arnold Palmer Invitational. Woods has won eight times in 17 starts at Bay Hill and will make his first appearance since claiming victory in 2013.
