World's oldest clipper ship in Australian hands

The world's oldest clipper ship has been re-named and farewelled at a ceremony in London, before being transported to South Australia.

The historic 19th century ship - the City of Adelaide - brought thousands of new settlers from London to a new life in Australia.

And the Australian bid to preserve and reclaim an important part of Australia's maritime history has some high-profile support.
