Australian actor Sam Worthington has signed on to star in thriller Alive Alone.
Worthington and Idris Elba, who stars in Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom, will play the lead roles in the film, according to Deadline.com.
Their casting has been announced after Matthias Schoenaerts pulled out of the film due to personal reasons.
Alive Alone is set in New York and tells the story of a former detainee of Guantanamo Bay (Elba) working as a taxi driver whose world collides with a prostitute on the run from a feared crime boss (Worthington).
Filming for Alive Alone is set to start in March.
