Wozniacki seals Sabalenka Eastbourne final

Caroline Wozniacki has beaten Angelique Kerber in a thrilling semi-final and now faces the unseeded Aryna Sabalenka at the pre-Wimbledon Eastbourne tournament.

Top seed Caroline Wozniacki has reached her third Eastbourne International final after beating Germany's Angelique Kerber 2-6 7-6 (7-4) 6-3.

The world No.2 will face the unseeded Aryna Sabalenka after the Belarusian defeated 2008 champion Agnieszka Radwanska 6-3 1-6 6-3 in the first of the last-four matches.

Australian Open winner Wozniacki, who won the Eastbourne title in 2009 and was runner-up last year, saved a match point at 5-6 in the second set against Kerber on Friday before prevailing in two hours, 17 minutes and firing 34 winners to her opponent's 42.

Sabalenka, 20, is through to her third career final, having lost in Tianjin last year and Lugano in April.

She finished off the opening set with her first ace but, after breaking Radwanska in the first game of the second, she began spraying her shots and lost six games in a row.

Radwanska was serving a break up at 3-2, 40-0 in the third when Sabalenka powered back, winning four straight games and saving a break point in the last.

Sabalenka has beaten three top-20 players this week, including world No.7 and defending champion Karolina Pliskova on Thursday.

"I remember one situation with Wozniacki, she was running and put all the balls in, it was the longest point I've ever seen. It will be interesting," Sabalenka said about the final.
