Crossbench senator Nick Xenophon has delivered the federal government another three votes for its $18.6 billion schools package.
"I'm not going to vote against a bill that provides extra funding," he told parliament on Wednesday, revealing he would support the so-called Gonski 2.0 model.
Senator Xenophon says the government has addressed many of his original reservations about the package.
Crossbench senator Derryn Hinch has also confirmed he will support the plan, along with Pauline Hanson's bloc of four.
