Sean Lennon says his 83-year-old mother Yoko Ono is 'running about as usual' after being discharged from a New York hospital.

Yoko Ono has been released from a New York City hospital after being treated for the flu.

Her representative Elliott Mintz told the Associated Press on Saturday she has been discharged.

Ono, the 83-year-old widow of Beatle John Lennon, went to the hospital on Friday night after having flu-like symptoms.

Sean Ono Lennon said on Twitter on Saturday that his mother was "running about as usual" after getting home. He says he may now get a flu shot.
