Young girl in hospital after NZ cow attack

A cow has attacked a young girl in New Zealand leaving her with serious injuries.

A young girl is in a serious condition in hospital after she was attacked by a cow in New Zealand.

The 12-year-old was taken to Waikato Hospital by helicopter after the attack near rural Te Awamutu on the North Island on Sunday.
