Zaha says photo wasn't slight on Moyes

Wilfried Zaha, who's on loan to Manchester United from Cardiff City, has batted away an Instagram post that seems to criticise manager David Moyes.

Manchester United winger Wilfried Zaha, currently on loan at Cardiff City, has denied criticising United manager David Moyes in a post on photo-sharing website Instagram.

The 21-year-old winger published a picture on the site showing him receiving instructions from Cardiff manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, accompanied by the caption: "Nothing like someone who believes in you.."

Zaha joined Cardiff on loan last month after making only four appearances for United under Moyes following his close-season switch from Crystal Palace, which could cost up to STG15 million ($A27 million).

However, despite subsequently deleting the Instagram picture, Zaha declared that he was merely praising Solskjaer, rather than criticising Moyes.

"My picture actually meant ole solskjaer has a lot faith for me to do something for cardiff's current position," Zaha wrote.

"My last Instagram picture was not intended as a dig or indirect at my manager, I have nothing but respect."
