Amos Roberts

Video journalist Amos Roberts talks about being beaten up and arrested while reporting on the uprising in Egypt.

His story in February 2011 was part of Dateline's extensive coverage of the uprising in North Africa and the Middle East.

Amos also talks about the difficulty he had trying to get out safely after filming his report, and he recalls some of the many and varied sights he's seen while working for Dateline.
And in Dateline's 30th anniversary special, Amos talks about another of his stories, which was memorable for very different reasons... Full Frontal TV.
