So when Dateline’s Geoff Parish heard of some in Turkey being jailed or having their offices raided, he wanted to find out more.

They say they’ve been targeted for speaking out against the government, even though the country’s leaders deny that connection.

In the latest of our Intern Diaries podcasts, he tells Kate Eastoe about the risks being taken by those continuing to speak out.
