In his most recent Dateline story, reporter Dean Cornish meets Tokyo local Fumie Takino, an 86-year-old cheerleader.

The film looks at Fumie’s squad of 55 and over cheerleaders – Japan Pom Pom – who are challenging assumptions about elderly life in Japan.
