Sydney-based producer Georgina Davies explains to Dateline Intern Emma Heidenreich that it’s down to finding good local people to guide the crew around and deal with any problems.

And Brett was amazed by the optimism in Gaza, with the chance to show Dateline a different, and more hopeful, side to life there.
