Another Covid case record in NSW as Victoria's lockdown set to be extended

In another day of record COVID-19 cases in Australia, authorities continued to press the case for getting vaccinated as the best way out of the pandemic. New South Wales recorded a second day running with new infections over 1000, but the Premier is trying to shift the focus to the state's growing vaccination rates. Meanwhile, in Victoria, the Premier says the case numbers are "too high" to end the state's lockdown as planned on Thursday.
