A child has died after a stabbing in the Blue Mountains today.
New South Wales Police say two other children and a woman are in a critical condition after they were found injured in a vehicle in Valley Heights.
The children are believed to be under five years of age, and the woman is in her 40s.
Police say they are not looking for any other people at this time.

A 31-year-old man has been charged with murder after a 23-year-old woman was found with fatal stab wounds in the southwest rural city of Wagga Wagga.
A 47-year-old man has also been charged over the death of an elderly woman at Bondi Beach.
Police have not confirmed any charges against a third man, who was arrested after a woman's body was found at Mole River in the state's north.

Energy Minister Chris Bowen is set to travel to Saudi Arabia in the coming days to discuss the flow of oil to refineries around the world.
His trip comes as the Coalition continues to push its proposal to automatically halve Australia's fuel excise during major spikes in global oil prices – and cut the tobacco excise to discourage a surge in black market cigarette sales.
Labor has not ruled out another temporary cut to fuel excise if international conditions deteriorate, but Treasurer Jim Chalmers has suggested to News 24's Sunday Agenda that the Opposition Leader's positioning on the fuel excise is about helping the Coalition against a surging One Nation.
It’s a suggestion Angus Taylor denies.
"We're responding to the pain that Australians are feeling at the bowser, that's what the response is to. And this Treasurer should start responding to that. He doesn't get it. He's out of touch."

The Prime Minister is reiterating calls for artificial intelligence to be reined in, and for digital safety to be paramount, following his meeting with the former boss of Apple ahead of the UN General Assembly.
During his meeting with Apple, Anthony Albanese received a demonstration of the safety features the company has rolled out to its devices, including additional parental controls and time limits on the use of apps and social media that parents can set.
US President Donald Trump has rejected calls for further guardrails around AI technology, arguing that America could lose the tech race to China as a result.
But Anthony Albanese says safety features need to be at the forefront, which is why Australia has joined with other middle powers to push for them at the UN.
"Australia is seen as a world leader when it comes to digital safety, particularly with regard to children. And that is why other nations are reaching out."

Four people have been killed in a US strike on a boat in the Caribbean that American authorities allege was involved in drug smuggling.
The military's Southern Command has confirmed the strike in a post on social media, saying intelligence established the vessel's active involvement in what it calls narco-trafficking.
The strike is the latest in a campaign that rights groups and fishermen have long criticised, arguing vessels have been targeted without sufficient evidence of links to trafficking.
Experts say there are also questions as to whether they do anything to curb the flow of cocaine and other drugs to the United States – the world's largest consumer.

The French carved out a 29-26 victory after being 19 points down and reduced at one point to just 11 players.
