Palestinian coach Makram Daboub says the team's objective is to make history by reaching the Asian Cup knockout stage for the first time when play against Hong Kong on Tuesday local time.

Palestinian players have lost family in the war in Gaza and their training in the lead-up to the tournament has been impacted by safety concerns.
