A 95-year-old grandmother is being treated in hospital for life-threatening head injuries after she was tasered by police at an aged care facility in southern New South Wales.

A 95-year-old grandmother is being treated in hospital for life-threatening head injuries after she was tasered by police at an aged care facility in southern New South Wales.


A police critical incident team is conducting an investigation, overseen by the Law Enforcement Conduct Commission.

Disability advocates say the incident should prompt a rethink on the use of tasers in aged care facilities.
