Kylie Moore-Gilbert is a dual citizen of Australia and the United Kingdom and was arrested in Iran in 2018. She was arbitrarily detained for more than 800 days on espionage charges. She now advocates for others through the Australian Wrongful and Arbitrary Detention Alliance. She speaks with SBS about her experience and Iran’s use of hostage diplomacy.
