Russia says first phase of military operation in Ukraine is 'mostly complete'

Russia's defence ministry says it will now focus on separatist areas in eastern Ukraine, claiming that Russian-backed separatists control 93 per cent of Ukraine's Luhansk region, and 54 per cent of Donetsk.
