Climate strike debate: Teen activists VS. politicians

Thousands of teens from around the world are ditching school to demand action from governments. So what happens when you get a couple of these young activists and a politician to sit down for a conversation?

School Strikes 4 Climate is happening in 1659 places in 105 countries around the world. The young people participating in the protests are saying the governments aren't doing enough to reverse the effects of climate change.

Governments are pushing back, Prime Minister Scott Morrison even said “kids should go to school” and called for “less activism” in schools following the last protest in December.

So Jan Fran got two of these young activists to meet with liberal MP Craig Kelly to attempt to find some middle ground.
