"We not only share stories and experiences but also share our cultures, music, games, dance, fashion, and ambitions with our fellow young Australians," says Prudence, E-Raced founder.

They tell us to go back to our country, but we don’t have anywhere else to go. That’s why we’re here.

Scrawled across the rear window and down both sides of a Holden 4WD is the E-Raced slogan: Erasing racism one story at a time. Inside, four young refugees are belting out Guy Sebastian’s Battlescars. Carpool karaoke is one way the team keep their spirits high as they tour Queensland sharing their stories - sometimes with restless students in airless assembly halls.

Today, the young storytellers from Rwanda, Syria, Liberia and Chad are bound for Yeppoon – the heartland of Pauline Hanson’s One Nation.
